WasteandChemicals participated on the recommendation of Ecopneus in the UNI project “Conforeach-gvg” developed by the UNI working group “Materials from the recovery of end-of-life tires” (ELTs) of the Technical Commission “Environment” of UNI, which involved all the main Italian stakeholders in the management of ELTs and leading companies in the production of infill for synthetic turf fields.
The project, which lasted three years, led to the preparation of a series of UNI practices that allow producers of materials deriving from the recovery of ELTs and other actors in the supply chain of such materials, to orient themselves correctly in the complexity of the Reach Regulation for the purposes to fulfill the obligations established by the regulation.
This project, presented by Daniele Fornai (Ecopneus operations manager) in the following article link, represents an example of collaboration unique in Europe and is configured as a best practice in the context of an ever increasing and concrete circular economy.
